Non-responsive Websites Are Bad For Business
Responsive websites (I’m calling these ‘pro-mobile’ for the purpose of this article) have been around for a number of years now and are no longer the new shiny thing in web design and development. However, the number of businesses I encounter on a near daily basis whose sites’ are not responsive continues to stagger me (anti-mobile, for the purpose of this article).
If your website is pro-mobile, chances are you will already know all or some of the virtues of responsive design. For those with an anti-mobile site, consider the following three facts:
Research by iAcquire and SurveyMonkey found that 40% of people will choose a different search result if the first is not mobile friendly. Based on this alone you could be losing a huge chunk of potential business just because your website is anti-mobile.
